Four Mile Cove Ecological Preserve Temporarily Closed

The City of Cape Coral has temporarily closed Four Mile Cove Ecological Preserve in an abundance of caution.

While attempting to remove a beehive at Four Mile Cove Ecological Preserve, 2500 SE 24th Street, a City contractor observed the bees exhibiting aggressive behavior.

The City has closed the park for the rest of the day and will assess the situation Friday, June 30, to determine if it is safe to re-open the park. The park gates are closed and access is not permitted until further notice.
