City Selects Consultant to Prepare Economic Development Strategic Plan

The City of Cape Coral has selected DCG Corplan Consulting LLC to prepare an Economic Development Strategic Plan. The New Jersey‐based consulting firm will lead a team of sub-consultants to evaluate the strengths of the City of Cape Coral and determine a means of utilizing those advantages to spur economic growth.
Following a review of competing proposals, DCG Corplan was determined to have the background qualifications and experience developed from many similar assignments throughout Florida, including a recent analysis of North Fort Myers. The study will be completed within a one‐year time frame.
Joining DCG Corplan on this assignment will be three sub-consultants: Parter International, Inc., a tourism consultant from Larchmont, NY; Forgey Planning, an urban planning firm from Cape Coral, FL; and D‐H & Associates Consulting, LLC, a business planning company from Key West.
DCG Corplan is a national leader in strategic planning, economic development, corporate site selection, real estate development feasibility, studies, and market analyses. The company provides strategic guidance on location and development issues tied to economic geography.
