City staff held the first Multimodal Transportation Master Plan Public Workshop public meeting in the summer of 2023, which allowed residents to help identify opportunities for improving and strengthening the City’s transportation network for all modes of transportation. This second workshop will present residents with preliminary findings and recommended projects, programs, and policies.

This is the final public workshop before City staff presents recommendations to Cape Coral City Council for adoption. Those who cannot attend in person can view the live stream of the workshop online, and all are encouraged to provide input in the Cape Coral Transportation Public Survey before February 8. The City anticipates adopting the final plan in March 2024.

The Multimodal Transportation Master Plan will update the City's long-term vision for its multimodal transportation system and provide policy direction. The plan will guide future and existing transportation projects throughout the City, like the five-year Capital Improvement Plan, the Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan, and other mid- and long-term transportation projects.
