Utilities Extension Project

Traffic Advisory


The removal and replacement of a portion of Ceitus Parkway is currently underway. The proposed schedules for each contract area, assuming no significant impacts from severe weather conditions, are as follows:

Contract 3 (east of Burnt Store Road) from SW 31st Place to contract boundary, approximately one-half mile on the eastbound lanes, paving of first lift of asphalt anticipated late-June 2020.

Contract 2 (west of Burnt Store Road) from Old Burnt Store Road to Burnt Store Road, approximately 1.2 miles on the westbound lanes, paving of first lift of asphalt anticipated mid-July 2020.

Driveway and swale restoration, as needed, will follow paving.

CONTRACT  2 

Ceitus Parkway

Old Burnt Store Road/Ceitus Parkway – West Bound Lane Closed until further notice. East Bound lane converted to two-lane, one-lane in each direction, until further notice. Follow traffic shift.

Ceitus Parkway will be Closed at Burnt Store Road until further notice. Motorists should detour to SW 32nd Court. Follow all detour signs.


CONTRACT 3


Ceitus Parkway
 
Ceitus Parkway eastbound lanes will be Closed until further notice. Westbound lanes converted to two-lane, one lane in each direction, until further notice. Follow Traffic Shift.

SW 31st Place is Closed at Ceitus Parkway until further notice. Motorists should detour to SW 3rd Lane. Follow all detour signs.

ONTRACT 7

Nicholas Parkway / Embers Parkway 

Embers Parkway Eastbound northbound to westbound, inside lanes from Pine Island Road to NW 13th Place. The northbound to westbound outside lane is open.

SW 1st Street

SW 1st Street from Nicholas Parkway to NW 6th Place - motorists should expect intermittent eastbound and westbound lane closures during the daytime hours while crews perform work on the roadway, weather permitting. Motorists should use caution and follow detour signs.



These closures are subject to change due to inclement weather and unforeseen underground conditions.

Motorists are advised to use caution and expect delays while crews perform utilities construction work.
