Summer is just around the corner and if you are looking for fun, safe, and educational ways for your children to spend their summer break, look no further! The Cape Coral Parks & Recreation Department is once again offering a full line-up of traditional and specialty summer camps for children ages 3-15 throughout the summer. Most of the camps are offered in weekly increments with different themes, field trips, guest speakers, and activities planned.

Several camps will begin the week of June 21, after school lets out for the summer, and run through the week of August 2. The Youth Center will once again be hosting its traditional, full-day Summer CAMPtacular recreation program at two locations (Youth Center and Oasis South Elementary) for children entering grades K-8 that includes field trips, activities and guest speakers. In addition, a non-traveling Staycation Camp will once again be held at Oasis North Elementary for a lower price than the traveling camps.

Along with traditional summer camps, the Cape Coral Parks & Recreation Department offers a wide variety of specialty camps including Eco Adventure Nature Camp at Rotary Park; Fine Arts for Kids Camp at the Art Center; Preschool and Super Science Camps at Four Freedoms Park; Fishing Camp, Summer Adventure Camp, Sports Conditioning and Dance Camp the Yacht Club and Tony Rotino Center; Junior Lifeguard and Splash Camps at Sun Splash and the Yacht Club Pool; Skate Camp at Eagle Skate Park; Animal Adventure Camp, Sewing Camp, Talent Camp and Comic Book Camp at Lake Kennedy Center; Tiny Tot and Junior Tennis Camp at the Yacht Club Tennis Courts; and Special Populations Camp. Some of these are full day camps while others are offered for a few hours on select weeks only.

Depending on availability, families may choose whether to stay with the same program/location for their children throughout the summer or “mix and match” camp weeks between the different Parks & Recreation facilities. For pricing and information about specific camps, including the weekly themes, view the digital 2021 Summer Camp Guide and click the camp(s) of your choice to register online. Please note: The 2021 Summer Camp Guide is available online only.
