Special Events Division Kicks Off New Season

The City's Special Events Division is kicking off event season with a FREE "Movie in the Park" at Jim Jeffers Park on Saturday, October 6. Enjoy a fun night under the stars with food trucks, giveaways, activities for the kids and the feature presentation, "COCO", on a giant inflatable movie screen at dusk.

Bike Night stage at nightOne week later on Saturday, October 13, we welcome the return of Cape Bike Night from 5-10 p.m. on 47th Terrace. October's event will feature rock legends Quiet Riot, over 60 vendors, food, giveaways and fun! 

Also coming up is the Fall Kids' Festival on Saturday, October 27 at Sun Splash Festival Grounds, Veterans Day Parade on Sunday, November 11 and the 2018 Coconut Festival to be held November 8-11. This year's Coconut Festival will once again feature great food, live entertainment, the new craft beer garden, carnival rides and a fireworks spectacular on Friday and Saturday nights. Friday, November 9 features the biggest COCO Country Night in the history of the event with four national recording artists - Jimmie Allen, Carly Pearce, Craig Campbell & Tyler Farr!
