Waste Collection Schedule Changes for Some Residents Begin March 1

Waste Pro’s waste collection schedules will be changing for some residents in the City of Cape Coral beginning March 1, 2021.

Waste Pro is adjusting its routes due to residential growth in the northern part of the city. The last time the routes were changed was in 2016. About 5,100 homes of the more than 81,000 will be impacted by these adjustments. Trash, recycling, and yard waste will continue to be collected one day and bulk items will be collected the following service day.

Residents who are affected by these route changes will receive a postcard from Waste Pro containing their new pickup day. Additionally, an online map tool is available to residents to determine what day their waste containers  will be collected beginning the week of March 1:

  1. Visit www.capecoral.net/trashpickup
  2. Click on the “Check Your Trash Day” icon
  3. Enter an address in the search bar at the top of the web page and hit enter
  4. The property will be shaded in a color that corresponds with a pickup day on the map legend.

For any questions or to schedule a “white good” (e.g. washer, dryer, refrigerator, or any other item requiring a claw truck), please call Waste Pro at (239) 337-0800.
