Multiple Lanes of Santa Barbara Boulevard Closed Beginning January 22 for Utility Repairs

Multiple lane closures on Santa Barbara Boulevard will be necessary beginning Wednesday, January 22 to make repairs to an irrigation main that is located just south of the Veterans Parkway intersection.

One northbound lane of Santa Barbara Boulevard and both left-turn lanes from Santa Barbara Boulevard onto Veterans Parkway (westbound) will be closed to complete excavation work, repair to the reuse main and roadway resurfacing. The extent of the utility repairs needed will determine the duration of the lane closures.

Drivers are asked to use extra caution in this area and be alert for roadside workers. Motorists traveling through this intersection should allow extra travel time.
