Southwest Florida International Airport
Cape Coral is only 15 miles from Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW), which serves more than seven million passengers annually. The airport’s $438-million terminal opened in 2005, cementing its status as one of the top medium-sized airports in the U.S. Providing nonstop service to 39 domestic and four international destinations, RSW is one of the top 50 U.S. airports for passenger traffic.

Southwest Florida International Airport is home to an expanded U.S. Immigration and Customs station facility and a Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ). Cargo services for regional, national and international carriers are readily available. The airport’s designation as a Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) provides special benefits for companies engaged in value-added manufacturing, importing and exporting. Cape Coral has two established Foreign Trade Zone extensions within its city limits.

Page Field Airport
Cape Coral is also served by Page Field, a general aviation airport in Fort Myers, just five miles from Cape Coral. One of the busiest general aviation airports in the U.S., it is a preferred hub for corporate and recreational aircraft. Page Field Aviation Center has been repeatedly named as one of the best general aviation facilities in the nation by ExxonMobil. A new, $40 million General Aviation Terminal includes a 22,613-square-foot terminal, a 24,000-square-foot multi-use hangar and a new Fuel Farm with jet and AvGas fuel. Page Field also is designated as a Foreign Trade Zone.

Punta Gorda Airport
Another growing airport, Punta Gorda Airport (PGD), is located in Charlotte County, just 10 miles north of Cape Coral. The primary passenger carrier is AllegiantAir, which offers service to 21 domestic destinations.
