William "Bill" Austen Youth Center

The William "Bill" Austen Youth Center, located adjacent to Eagle Skate Park, is a facility for children between the ages of 3-18 which includes a 9,900 square foot recreation center and offers something fun for everyone! Kids can drop in daily for use of our gaming systems (XBox 360 and Wii), the latest in computer software, hottest video games, watch movie matinees, or participate in a variety of fun classes and group trips throughout the year. Annual membership is required for certain programs.

The cost for a child to be a member
 of the Youth Center is $30 per resident or $45 per non-resident. Memberships are valid for one fiscal year (October 1-September 30).  

A two-page Youth Center Membership Application form is available at the William "Bill" Austen Youth Center. Stop by and request a copy during the Youth Center's normal hours of operation or view and print a copy by selecting the link below. Remember: There are two pages to the form and both pages are required to be filled out to complete the application.

For the well-being and safety of each participant of the Youth Center and Eagle Park, we have established a Policies and Procedures book to answer many of your questions about our program.

TIGERS After School Program:
 Stop by the Youth Center to register your child for our after school program. TIGERS runs Monday - Friday from 2:00 - 6:00 p.m. for only $35 / child per week. Most local schools provide FREE busing to the Youth Center. Our after school program is licensed by the Department of Children and Families (DCF #C2OLE0066). Students will engage in daily homework assistance, daily exercise, computer stations, arts and crafts, and games.  Tigers After School program is partially funded with the Community Block Grant Fund.

TIGERS Premium
Monday - Friday 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. is extended care for our after school program for an additional $10/week per child.

Schools Out Child Care: Child Care is available for TIGERS students from 7:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. on days when school is out. The Youth Center is open to drop in members at 6:00 a.m. on days when school is out.  The Youth Division at Oasis Elementary offers child care on schools out day from 6:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m.  The Youth Center and Youth  Division also offer Spring, Winter, and Summer Camps.
