Eagle Skate Park, located adjacent to the William “Bill” Austen Youth Center, is one of the largest skate facilities from Tampa to Miami and features nearly 27,000 sq. ft. of ramps, rails, street obstacles, and a bowl. The park offers extreme fun for skateboard, scooter, and bike enthusiasts of all ages. Note: Helmets and parental/legal guardian consent are required prior to admission. Helmet rentals are available.

Park visitors can also cool down in the Skate Park building and can enjoy free Wi-Fi, as well as some concessions from an expanded menu featuring hot food items, soft-serve ice cream, milkshakes, and sundaes.

ADMISSION FEES
The following Skate Park admission fees will per charged per person per session:  

Entry Fee: $5
Spectator Fee: $1*
* Note: Parents who are supervising younger children will not be charged.

RULES & REGULATIONS

Eagle Skate Park is used by both experienced and inexperienced skateboard riders, in-line skaters, bike riders, and scooter riders. Serious injury may occur from colliding with other riders, falling on the concrete surface, and flying objects. The City of Cape Coral does not assume responsibility for injuries. USE OF FACILITY IS AT YOUR OWN RISK

  • Helmets are required by all participants at all times while they are on the skating surface. Elbow pads, knee pads, and other additional safety equipment are strongly recommended.
  • The City of Cape Coral reserves the right to change the hours of operation as necessary and close the park in the event of inclement weather, special events, and any other reason deemed necessary by the City of Cape Coral.
  • Smoking, drug use/possession, and alcohol consumption are strictly prohibited. Smoking is not permitted at the facility.
  • The dress code must be followed at the skate park at all times, and interpretation of the dress code will be made by the City of Cape Coral.
  • Unlawful entry into the facility will result in a trespassing citation and possible suspension from the facility.
  • Food and drinks must stay off the concrete skating surface. Glass containers and chewing gum are not permitted at the facility.
  • No activities will be permitted when the skating surface is wet.
  • No horseplay, fighting, or profanity is permitted in the park.
  • Do not proceed down a ramp until it is clear of other riders.
  • All persons entering the Skate Park must have a Skate Park waiver signed. No exceptions to this rule will be made. Children under the age of 18 years old must have a parent/legal guardian sign their waiver. 
  • Please skate within your own abilities, and respect the other participants using the facility. Keep in mind that the facility is for skaters of different skill levels and ages. 
  • Please report any damage to ramps, skating surface, or other maintenance issues to the Skate Park Administrative Staff.
  • The city of Cape Coral reserves the right to restrict entry to the facility and to ask individuals to leave the park if these guidelines are not followed or unsafe behavior is observed.
  • The City of Cape Coral reserves the right to free interpretation of all rules and regulations.

E.A.G.L.E.S. After School Program
E.A.G.L.E.S (Exciting After School Games & Lessons in Exercise & Skateboarding) is a fully supervised after school program at the Skate Park that runs Monday-Friday from 2:30-6:00 p.m. during the regular school year. Participants ages 8+ enjoy homework assistance, group games, and recreational activities, plus can stay and skate for free at the Skate Park daily after the program is over.  Many local schools bus for free to the Youth Center.  A weekly fee of $40 applies and space is limited. Call for more details.

BIRTHDAY PARTIES

LESSONS
An experienced instructor teaches participants the fundamentals needed to perform a wide variety of street and ramp tricks that are sure to impress their families and friends. CONTESTS
Eagle Skate Park hosts skateboard, bike, and scooter contests on a regularly scheduled basis. All contestants must have a waiver form completed prior to the competition. If the contestant is under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian must fill out the form. To see upcoming events/contests, check the activity calendar below.

SKATE CAMPS
Did you know Eagle Skate Park offers Spring Break Camps and Summer Camps for children ages 8-14 when school is out? Each camp includes instructional skate times, group games, and access to the Skate Park during and after camp. Weekly themes and field trips are also included. Participants are required to wear closed-toe shoes and bring their own equipment and helmet. Space is limited so register early.
