Cape Coral Art Center
The Cape Coral Art Center has been an artist community resource in Southwest Florida since 1977. Located in Rubicond Park on Coronado Parkway in SE Cape, the Art Center offers classes for all skill levels in fine arts and fine crafts year-round for residents and guests of all ages. No memberships are required for participation. Featuring over 13,600 square feet of well-equipped studios, specialty art supplies store, gift shop and art gallery, the Art Center has something for everyone.
The Fine Art Gallery features monthly exhibits showcasing local artists. The Art Supply Store conveniently provides supplies for classes and the community. Visit the Gift Shop showcasing artwork by students and instructors. The Art Center is also home to many non-profit community partners.

The Cape Coral Art Center offers year-round classes and programming in the fine arts and fine crafts for all ages. Choose from a wide variety of classes including Acrylic Painting, Watercolor, Oil Painting, Pottery Clay/Raku, Stone Sculpture, Silversmithing, Jewelry, Precious Metal Clay, Glass Beadmaking, Glass Fusing, Wire wrapping, Stained Glass, Copper Enameling and more. Classes for children and teens include: Clay and Painting.
Studios are well equipped, and classes are available at all levels from beginner to advanced. Classes are offered at a variety of days and times to fit into your schedule. No membership is required. Registration for a specific class is required to save your place. Supplies are available for purchase on site, students receive a 10% discount on all purchases in the Art Supply Store.

ART SUPPLY STORE
The Art Supply Store is in Building 2 and provides the community with a large inventory of specialty fine art supplies. The selection of supplies offers everything needed for classes at the Art Center. The store meets the needs of students as well as professional artists and the weekend crafter.
The store is conveniently open to the public Monday Through Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Supplies are available for purchase onsite, and Cape Coral Art Center students receive a 10% discount on all purchases in the Art Supply Store.

FINE ART GALLERY
In addition to having the opportunity to create your own art, the Art Center is home to two gallery exhibition spaces, the Main Art Gallery and the Side Gallery which feature monthly exhibits . Admission into both gallery spaces is FREE! Each features group shows, open calls to artists and traveling exhibitions. You can find virtual gallery tours of the Art Center’s latest exhibits posted on the Art Center’s Facebook!

The Gift Shop is full of unique artwork by students, instructors and community partner member affiliates. Work changes regularly and prices are reasonable. This is an excellent place to buy something special for that special someone!
If you are interested in selling your artwork in the Gift Shop, call 239-574-0802 to schedule an appointment. All work is juried into the gift shop, so keep in mind some pieces may not be accepted.
FINE ARTS FOR KIDS SUMMER CAMP
During the summer, the Fine Art for Kids Summer Camp hosts children ages 7 to 13 to learn new art techniques and mediums in a safe, educational and fun environment.
Each weekly themed program offers fun techniques, guest speakers and demonstrations to inspire the child’s imagination. Children can experience the creative process including pottery, mixed media, painting, drawing, colored pencil, gallery exhibiting and more. The Art Center provides all necessary supplies. Students bring lunch, water bottle and their imagination. Snacks are available for purchase.

To sign up, call the Art Center at 239-574-0802. Registrations will be accepted from 9am-4pm Monday through Friday. If you do not get a live person, please leave a voicemail with your name and phone number clearly spoken and we will call you back. Space is limited and available on a first come, first serve basis.
Parent Packets and Activity Waivers are due by 6/18/21; Registrations without all paperwork completed by 6/18/21 may be subject to cancellation.
Scholarship space is available; however, completing and turning in a scholarship application does not ensure a child's registration in camp. It is recommended that parents sign up and pay for the camps of choice, and if a registered child is awarded a scholarship, parents will receive a full refund for the preferred scholarship week.

Each year the Art Center features Special Events including Fine Craft Expo, Holly Daze Fine Art Sale and the Art Focus Festival.

The Art Center partners with non-profit art organizations that meet at the Art Center on a weekly and monthly basis. Organizations include the Florida Society of Goldsmiths Southwest Chapter, Southwest Florida Fine Craft Guild, Southwest Florida Glass Beadmakers and the Silver Foxes.

The Art Center is happy to accept donations during regular operating hours. Accepted donation items include new or like-new materials, products, supplies and some functioning equipment. We do not accept old, used paint, ceramic glaze chemicals, non-functioning equipment or any other hazardous material that would otherwise need appropriate disposal. All donations are tax-deductible.
