The proposed project work area is approximately 2.5 square miles, with approximately 2,000 improved parcels and approximately 2,500 unimproved parcels. The project area is located in the northwest quadrant of the City of Cape Coral and is generally bounded on the west by Burnt Store Road, on the south by the Shadroe Canal, on the east by Chiquita Boulevard and on the North by Hermosa Canal and Albatross Lake.
