North 2 Utilities Extension Project General Information
The City of Cape Coral has contracted with Greeley & Hansen to design the potable water, sanitary sewer, dual water (irrigation), storm drain and road reconstruction in the area known as North 2.
The proposed project work area is approximately five (5) square miles with approximately 8,800 parcels. The project area is located in the northwest and northeast quadrants of the City of Cape Coral and is generally bound on the west by Old Burnt Store Road; on the north by the Embers Pkwy, Shadroe Canal, Hermosa Canal and Balmoral Canal; on the east by Del Prado Boulevard; and on the south by Pine Island Road. On May 4th, 2015, City Council approved the map of North 2, which included additional parcels between the Bonefish Canal and Embers Parkway.
Construction of North 2 is expected to start August 2017.
If you have any questions about the work going on in the area, please contact the 311 Call Center formerly the Citizens Action Center by dialing 311.
