Rotary Park & CCFW to Host Burrowing Owl Festival on February 27
The Cape Coral Friends of Wildlife is a not-for-profit, volunteer organization dedicated to preserving and protecting wildlife in Cape Coral, especially the burrowing owl. Cape Coral has Florida's largest population of burrowing owls and people come from all over the world to see and photograph our popular city bird. This festival is designed as a fun way to educate people of all ages about the owls and to get residents actively involved in the preservation and care of this fantastic little creature.
There is a $5 per person requested donation at the gate, children ages 16 and under are FREE. Proceeds from the festival will go directly to local wildlife preservation and protection. For more information, visit www.ccfriendsofwildlife.org.
