These programs target very low, low and moderate income households. All programs are governed by applicable state and federal regulations and are available on a first come, first available basis.

Cape Coral Housing Development Corporation offers assistance to income qualified homeowners for the rehabilitation of their homes. Repairs are for life, safety, welfare issues only. Rehabilitation will be limited to repairs or improvements that are needed for safe or sanitary habitation, correction of substantial code violations and/or barrier removal for accessibility by physically challenged individuals. How do I know if I am income qualified?
Each year the US Department of Housing and Urban Development and Florida Housing Finance Corporation distribute the income limits for the Cape Coral-Fort Myers Metropolitan Statistical Area. Agencies will qualify clients based on this table and information provided by your employer and financial institution. Below are the current income limits. Please be advised that these numbers differ for the Down Payment Assistance Program administered by Cape Coral Housing Development Corporation.
