Programs for Adult (18+ yrs)

The Cape Coral Parks & Recreation Department offers a variety of programs for adults throughout the year to encourage active lifestyles and life-long learning.
Some of the kinds of activities adults can participate in include: Dance & Fitness Classes, Fishing/Boating Workshops, Computer Classes, Water Aerobics, Athletics, Home & Gardening Programs, Art Classes and more! Please see the list below for a sample of the adult programs offered by various recreation centers and divisions within the Parks & Recreation Department:
Cape Coral Arts Studio (16+ yrs)
Painting, pottery, glass, jewelry, photography, and other media classes & workshops
Coral Oaks Golf Course (16+ yrs)
Adult golf clinics, leagues, golf school, tournaments, etc.
Four Freedoms Park (18+ yrs)
Yoga, aerobics, tai chi and other fitness classes, as well as equestrian programs, quilting and other special interest programs
Rotary Park Environmental Center (16+ yrs)
Yoga, karate and fitness classes, home & garden workshops, kayak adventures, and miscellaneous nature programs
Sports (Athletic) Leagues (18+ yrs)
Men's and Co-Rec Softball, Men's Flag Football, Men's Basketball
Yacht Club & Yacht Club Community Pool (16+ yrs)
Fishing, boating, aquatic and dance programs; Miscellaneous special events & day trips
Yacht Club Tennis Courts (18+ yrs)
Adult beginner and intermediate tennis clinics, group lessons, round robin sessions, men's night, ladies' night, mixed drop-in, and more.
Cape Coral Parks & Recreation also includes two membership based recreation centers that cater to the baby-boomer and senior populations:
Lake Kennedy Senior Center (50+ yrs)
Dance, fitness, and music classes, day trips, dinner shows, specialty programs; Membership to Lake Kennedy Senior Center includes reciprocal benefits at Tony Rotino Senior Center
Tony Rotino Senior Center (50+ yrs)
Dance, fitness, music, and computer classes, day trips, specialty programs; Membership to the Tony Rotino Senior Center includes reciprocal benefits at Lake Kennedy Senior Center
