The Florida Agency of Workforce Innovation oversees One Stop Centers that implement state employee workforce development programs, match employees with employers (Employers Service Center), and recruit trained and qualified workers for high-tech and other short-staffed programs.
Southwest Florida Works, our local one-stop center, helps employers in the community find employees with the appropriate training, skills and motivation. Employers are also provided hiring information, job postings that can be processed within one business day, and local area statistics. Also available are onsite executive facilities and employer incentive programs.
Job Seekers are provided with job search assistance, employment development workshops, employment counseling, skills training, resume writing, job matching and assistance filing for temporary public assistance or unemployment benefits.
Contact the City of Cape Coral for further information regarding our employee development and employee recruitment and selection programs.
