Small Business Development Center (SBDC)
Since 2005, the Economic Development Office has partnered with the Florida Gulf Coast University's Small Business Development Center (SBDC) satellite office near City Hall.
The Cape Coral, Florida, Small Business Development Center is dedicated to providing businesses with free, confidential advice. Their services include one-on-one counseling as well as educational workshops geared to provide businesses with all the information they need to conduct a successful business.
The SBDC is just one part of the Center of Leadership and Innovation, operated by Florida Gulf Coast University's Lutgert College of Business and the U.S. Small Business Administration.
The Cape Coral satellite office, across Cultural Park Blvd from City Hall, is staffed during business hours. Services of the Cape Coral, Florida SmallBusiness Development Center also support the activities of the U.S. Small Business Administration.
Over the years, the Cape Small Business Development Center has counseled hundreds of businesses – from start-ups to expansions.
