The City of Cape Coral is the only city in Southwest Florida to fund its own Economic Development Office (EDO). The Economic Development Office (EDO) is overseen by the City Manager. The EDO is responsible for attracting new investors and businesses to Cape Coral, promoting the growth of existing businesses, and for creating new and improved employment opportunities for residents. The EDO is staffed by four, under the lead of the Economic Developmemt Director. Our mission is the continuous improvement of the Cape Coral business environment.
