In 2018, Dr. Mercola officially moved its headquarters into a 60,000 square-foot location in Cape Coral. An eco-friendly oral care business, WooBamboo! was launched in Cape Coral in 2013 with the simple epiphany to sell toothbrushes with handles made from sustainably harvested, biodegradable bamboo. It has found major success. The company has experienced annual growth rates beyond 500 percent while expanding its product line to include children’s and pet toothbrushes, toothpaste, and biodegradable silk dental floss. A mouthwash also has been in development. WooBamboo! products now are available in 30 countries and sold in 14,000 stores.
