Calling all Citizen Scientists!bird guide book

Below is the schedule of the Cape Coral Citizen Science Bird Walks (CSBW) for this coming summer. We will be surveying the mangroves of Cape Coral looking for Mangrove Cuckoos as well as other birds. All data will be recorded by City staff and entered into Ebird. All citizen scientists interested in assisting City staff in the surveys should email Katie McBride at kmcbride@capecoral.net or Honey Phillips at hlphilli@capecoral.net. All citizen scientists are volunteers and will be required to sign waivers and provide their own bird watching equipment (binoculars, reference books, drab-colored clothing, field shoes, and kayaks for paddle surveys).

The CSBW is a great way to grow as a bird watcher and see areas of Cape Coral you may have never visited!
