Summer Recreation Summer Camp

Looking for fun and affordable child care for the summer break? Parks and Recreation has just what you’re looking for! The Youth Division offers a Summer Recreation program to children in grades K-8 (child must be at least 5 years old by September 1, 2017). This year's Summer Recreation locations are Oasis Elementary School and Christa McAuliffe Elementary School. Weekly camps will be held May 30-July 28. Limited space is available so be sure to register your child(ren) early.  

Summer Rec Camp

Based out of Oasis Elementary/Middle (3415 Oasis Blvd), participants will enjoy field trips, indoor and outdoor games, arts and crafts, guest speakers and more.  Breakfast and lunch will be provided on non-travel days. Afternoon snack to be provided from home. Please provide snacks and lunch on travel days. Open to grades K-8 (child must be at least 5 years old by September 1, 2017).  The cost is $89 per week. Staycation Camp
Based out of Christa McAuliffe Elementary (2817 SW 3rd Ln), this non-travel camp is available at a discounted rate. Participants will enjoy indoor and outdoor recreation, arts and crafts, guest speakers and much more.  Breakfast and lunch will be provided daily, and an afternoon snack needs to be provided from home.  Open to grades K-8.  The cost is $68 per week. Click here to register online for Staycation Camp

To register, an enrollment form must be filled out and payment must be made in full for the first week of camp. Registration forms may be submitted & payments made at the Wm. Austen Youth Center, 315 SW 2nd Ave, beginning April 3, 2017.  Please note: Prior to camp participation, the following forms must be reviewed and signed (where indicated) by a parent or guardian:  Please call 242-3950 for more information.
