Youth Services Division

The Youth Division of the Parks & Recreation Department, which has been serving Cape Coral for over 30 years, offers child care and recreational programs to elementary and middle school aged youth of the community in a fun and safe atmosphere. Before and After School Programs 
Before and After School Programs are offered at the City’s Charter Schools, Oasis Elementary South and Oasis Elementary North,  but participation is limited to children who attend those schools. These programs host activities such as homework time, indoor and outdoor activities, games, sports, arts and crafts, guest speakers, and much more. Youth Division Winter and Spring Break           
This program is offered to all students when school is not in session. Participants enjoy day trips, indoor and outdoor activities, crafts, organized group games, and more.  Parents need to provide a healthy lunch and two snacks. This program is offered at Oasis Elementary South (3415 Oasis Boulevard) . 

Summer Recreation Camp
Looking for fun and affordable child care for the summer break? Parks and Recreation has just what you’re looking for! The Youth Division offers a Summer Recreation program to children in grades entering K -entering 8 (child must be 5 years old to enroll). This year's Summer Recreation locations are Oasis Elementary South and Oasis Elementary North.  Full payments are required before each week's session. Creative Cubs Learning Center (3-5 yrs)
The Wm. "Bill" Austen Youth Center now offers Free VPK* and affordable wrap-around care from 6:45 a.m.-6:00 p.m. for only $99 per week.  We also have a three-year-old class for $109 per week.  

* The VPK program is free for all children who reside in Florida and turn four years old on or before September 1.  For more information or to register, please call (239) 242-3965.
