Del Prado Linear Park

This linear park was developed along Del Prado Blvd between Pine Island Road and Kismet Pkwy as part of a road widening improvement project. Amongst the park's amenities is a 10-foot wide sidewalk that runs four miles from Pine Island Road to Kismet Pkwy on both sides of the road, offering an excellent place for jogging, rollerblading, and biking, or walking, and the sidewalk is lighted for evening use.

There are also eight fitness stations on the east side of the road between Diplomat Pkwy and Kismet Pkwy, while the west side of the road circles Lake Zurich and has a Rain Garden about a mile north of Pine Island Road.

In 2018, Cape Coral voters approved a $60 million expansion of the City's parks and recreation amenities, including an expansion at Del Prado Linear Park that opened in March 2023. The new area includes a shaded
playground featuring an accessible swing seat and traditional swings, a moon rock climbing component, and a cozy cocoon spinning apparatus. In addition, a fenced basketball court, accessible and traditional parking, improved landscaping and lighting, and public restrooms were added.
