The Marine Services Division, under the supervision of the Director of Parks and Recreation, is responsible for overseeing and managing all recreational marine operations within the City of Cape Coral. This encompasses the Cape Coral “Godman” Yacht Basin, as well as the City’s five (5) boat launch ramps including: Yacht Club Boat Ramp, Horton Park Boat Ramp, BMX Boat Ramp, Burnt Store Boat Ramp, Rosen Park and various undeveloped ramps throughout the City, which are not permitted for public use. In addition to overseeing Cape Coral’s boat ramps, the Marine Services Division manages the Chiquita Boat Lock. And, the division is also responsible for managing Rosen Park, a new boat launch facility which includes a 20-slip Marina for live-aboard vessels up to 40’ in length and additional boat ramps accessing the Caloosahatchee River.
