This 13.5 acre neighborhood park is a wide open area with a landing strip built to service radio controlled airplanes. It is primarily utilized by the Cape Coral R/SeaHawks Club for weekend flights, as well as to host their annual “Celebrate Cape Coral Air Show” every March which features high-flying, large-scale model aircraft. All pilots must have a valid AMA card posted on the frequency board located in the main “hanger” while flying, but spectators are welcome to bring their chairs and enjoy the sights behind the safety fence.
