This 8 acre environmental park is a great place to enjoy viewing manatees, especially in the cooler months, as well as fishing throughout the year. 

Phase one of park development has been completed which includes: Kayak launch area, manatee viewing locations, walking path and landscape improvements.  The kayak launch allows kayakers access to the Calusa Blueway thru Matlacha.

 

As funds become available, future phases will include the possibility of an elevated boardwalk, environmental center, and shoreline and landscape improvements.
