This 8 acre, mostly undeveloped environmental park, is a great place to enjoy viewing manatees during the cool winters, as well as fishing throughout the year. Although park development is still in the planning stages, a kayak ramp has been constructed which allows people to access the Calusa Blueway thru Matlacha.

Some of the preliminary discussed development ideas for this park include an environmental center, viewing area for manatee watching, elevated boardwalk, native landscaping and picnic areas. Development of the park will be done in phases with timing to be determined by available funding.


PLEASE NOTE: Due to construction, the area located behind the rock fence is currently closed to the public; however, the kayak launch remains open.
