The South Florida Water Management District has approved the City's proposal to move residents who are on the one-day watering schedule to the current two-day schedule in effect for dual-water users.
In Cape Coral, residents who are not on the City's dual-water system including residents on wells will be permitted to water two days a week as per the schedule below.
Here is the two-day schedule that will be in effect for all of Cape Coral:

4:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. for addresses ending in 7 and 9 |
| Thursday and Sunday: |
12:00 a.m. to 4:00 a.m. for addresses ending in 2 and 4 |
| Thursday and Sunday: |
4:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. for addresses ending in 6 and 8 |

Non-residential, duplexes and other multi-family units can water on Monday and Friday from 12 a.m. to 8 a.m.

South Floridians have a new online tool for learning about ways to save water and help protect our region's most valuable resource. The South Florida Water Management District has launched a comprehensive website, www.savewaterfl.com, providing a one-stop-shop for information.
