The Youth Services Division of the Parks & Recreation Department, which has been serving Cape Coral for over 30 years, offers child care and recreational programs to elementary and middle school aged youth of the community in a fun and safe atmosphere.
Before and After School Programs
Before and After School Programs are offered at all three of the City’s Charter Schools, Oasis Charter Elementary, Christa McAuliffe Charter Elementary, and Oasis Charter Middle School, but participation is limited to children who attend those schools. These programs host activities such as homework time, indoor and outdoor activities, games, sports, arts and crafts, guest speakers and much more.
Summer Recreation & Middle / High School Fun Daze
Looking for fun and affordable child care for the summer break? Parks and Recreation has just what you’re looking for! The Youth Services Division offers a Summer Recreation program to children grades K - 5 (child must be at least 5 years old by September 1st, 2010). This year our Summer Camp locations will be Four Freedoms Park, Oasis Elementary School, Caloosa Middle School and Christa McAuliffe Elementary School. The cost of this program is $89 per week. Participants will enjoy two field trips per week, indoor and outdoor games, arts and crafts, guest speakers and much more. Lunch and one snack will be provided daily, afternoon snack to be provided from home.
The Middle / High School Fun Daze program is available for children entering grades 6-10 (age 16). This program will be offered out of Caloose Middle School ONLY! The cost of this program is $89 per week. Participants will enjoy indoor and outdoor games, gym time, guest speakers, two field trips per week and much more! Participants will be provided lunch on non-field trip days.
