The Kennedy Krusiers are on the road again to tour the Sebring International Raceway ! SIR is one of America's premier sports car racing facilities. Nestled among the orange groves and cattle ranches of central Florida, it is the oldest permanent road racing track in North America, evolving from a World War II air base. Sebring is world famous for the annual 12 Hours of Sebring endurance race, that is part of the prestigious American Le Mans Series which is celebrating it’s 60th Anniversary. After a morning filled with racing excitement we will make a pit stop at the Runway Café for a “Dutch Treat” lunch. This local eatery is a diner style establishment and is a local favorite that boast great food at reasonable prices. Our tour then takes us to ”The Lost Mines of Atlantis” to mine for precious, semi precious gem stones and crystals. Come enjoying the thrill of the hunt and discover amethyst, citrine , emerald, ruby, sapphire, garnet, agate, opal, tigers eye, petrified wood, Herkimer diamonds, moonstone, onyx, peridot, hematite, chrysocolla and more. What a great way to spend an afternoon with friends! Pre-registration is required.
