The Lake Kennedy Center offers a diverse selection of high quality day trips and special events throughout the year.

Day Trips:

Various educational, social, cultural and eco-focused excursions are offered to meet the needs of the active, mature adult. Day Trips depart from the senior center each month to destinations that range from the east coast, including the Ft. Lauderdale/Miami area, to the gulf coast north of Cape Coral, including the Tampa/Sarasota areas, and even to central parts of Florida, including the Orlando and Cape Canaveral areas.

Special Events:

Several extraordinary Special Events are presented in the Grand Ballroom at the Lake Kennedy Senior Center throughout the year. These include theme dances, dinner shows with top notch musical and comedic entertainment, and even “Senior Idol” talent competitions. Other events include special fundraisers that feature members with extravagant costumes and choreography, all precisely mixed with great musical skill.
