About the Preschool / VPK Programs

Four Freedoms Park offers two part-time age appropriate preschool programs.  Our Tiny Toads program is for 3 and 4 year olds and meets on Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.  We offer two VPK classes  on M/W/F from 9:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. and one VPK class Tuesday/Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  The age of your child will determine which program they are eligible to attend. The school runs from the middle of August to middle of June depending on the program the child is enrolled in. Enrollment is accepted at the beginning of the school year or throughout the year as child becomes age appropriate. The following programs are available:

Tiny Toads VPK/Hoppers (Voucher Required) Tuesday & Thursday 9:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Mon / Wed / Fri  (4-5 year olds) 9:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Tuesday/Thursday (4-5 year olds) 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. 3-4 year olds 4-5 year olds (Child must be 3 by first day of session.) (Child must turn 4 by Sept. 1st of the school year.)

Four Freedoms’ staff believes children are our most valuable assets. That’s why we make sure our Preschool programs offer quality classes in a caring & safe learning environment with emphasis on hands-on experience, discovery learning & self development. This program and facility provide children with their first group activities in a safe and secure environment. Children have the opportunity to explore and play in a warm and caring atmosphere.

Both of the preschool programs provide readiness skills that are taught in a fun and positive way through a creative curriculum, as well as outdoor play. Each program also incorporates the Learning Centers of Art, Language Arts, Science, Sociodramatic Play, Block Area and a Computer Center.

Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten is a legislative program designed to prepare every four year old in Florida for kindergarten and build the foundation for their educational success.  The VPK program is FREE for all children who are four years old on or before September 1, 2010 (VPK voucher required). WE CURRENTLY ARE ACCEPTING VOUCHERS FOR AUGUST 2010. Children must be self sufficient in restroom care and age appropriate.  Parents provide lunch and snack.

Forms needed for registration include:

• Four Freedoms Park Preschool Enrollment Form
• Physical
• Immunization form
• Copy of child’s birth certificate

Saturday Programs & Preschool Summer Camps

Four Freedoms Park also offers themed Saturday programs as well as Summer Camps for preschool age children, which are filled with fun crafts and other activities. These programs are priced out and run separately from the weekday preschool program, so children who are not part of the daily program are still eligible to sign up for Saturday programs and our camps.

Pre-Registration is required for all classes and programs at least one week in advance or until spaces are filled.
