Four Freedoms Park, along with Venture Equestrian Training Center and Saddlewood Horse Club, offer a wide variety of horse programs for children and adults. Both facilities are located in the Southwest section of Cape Coral. Most programs are available year-round, but space is limited, so be sure to reserve your space early. ***Pre-Registration is required for all classes and programs at least one week in advance or until spaces are filled. Parent/Child Horse Discovery (4-6 year olds)
This class is designed to introduce your child to the wonders of horses. Learn the basics of horsemanship, grooming, riding and respect. Parents are required to stay and assist with their child. There are 4 classes that meet on Tuesday from 5:30pm to 6:30pm.  Upcoming sessions are:

Young Equestrians (7-14 year olds)
Learn the basics of general anatomy, safety, respect, grooming, handling, tack, walk, trot and canter. Vaulting, English and Western styles of riding will be experienced.  There are 6 classes that meet on Thursday from 5:30pm to 7pm.  Upcoming sessions are:

Presenting a fun filled day under a covered arena. Children will have a chance to pet, groom and feed a horse, partake in pony/horse riding in the arena, play games, enjoy a hot dog, chips and a drink for lunch and paint their own model horse to take home.
