Four Freedoms Park offers programs for children of all ages, from birth to 12 years. All programs are held in our recreation facility which is located toward the back of the playground. Some of the children’s programs that are offered at Four Freedoms Park throughout the year include:

July 11, 2009 OPEN HOUSE Four Freedoms Park:  
Celebrate National Parks & Recreation month with us on Saturday from 11am to 1pm.  FREE to all ages. Come into our newly remodeled facility to learn about our many programs, instructors and certified pre-school teachers.  This facility offers programs for all ages.

Special One Day Events
Four Freedoms Park also offers monthly themed Saturday programs for pre-school age children, which are filled with fun crafts and other activities.  These programs are priced out and run separately from the weekday pre-school program, so children who are not part of the daily program are still eligible to sign up for Saturday programs.

Upcoming events for ages 3 to 5 years meet Saturday from 9am to 1:30pm.  Child needs to bring a lunch and snack and be self-sufficient in restroom care.

June 27, 2009 Summer Fun:  
Enjoy a day of summer fun with crafts, games and much more.
            
July 18, 2009 Zoo Animals:  
Your child will go on a magical trip to a pretend zoo to learn all about animals.

August 8, 2009 Ocean Life:  
Your child will explore the creatures that live in the sea by doing arts & crafts and having hands on experience with different types of shells.

Upcoming events for ages 5 to 10 years meet Tuesday from 9am to 1:30pm.  Child needs to bring a lunch and snack.
    
June 30, 2009 Airplanes & Origami:
We will be creating a variety of paper and foam airplanes and getting into the Japanese art of Origami.  Your child will be amazed at things that can be created by just folding sheets of paper.  With step-by-step instructions, children will take all projects with them to enjoy at home.

July 21, 2009 Recycling for the Outdoors:
We will be creating a hummingbird feeder and pinecone feeder that you can place in your own backyard and observe these fascinating visitors.  We will also decorate cans and plant seeds so that you can start your own garden. 

August 4, 2009 Wearing Colors:
Bring a white T-Shirt so we can tye-dye together and you can show your friends your colorful skills!  We will also be turning white salt into bright colors and creating pictures.

Super Science Summer Camps (6-12yrs)
Four Freedoms Park is partnering with Super Science and Amazing Art to offer week-long science camps with different amazing themes. Child needs to bring lunch.  All camps will be held Monday-Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
