 What better way to show off your skills than by participating in a friendly competition? Eagle Skate Park and Beasley Broadcasting’s New Rock 99x are now teaming up to host skateboarding and BMX Competitions on a bi-monthly basis. There is a $10 entry fee the day of the contest, and all contestants must have a waiver form completed prior to the competition. If the contestant is under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian must fill out the form. Proof of Age is required.
Each contest is split into four age divisions, with prizes awarded to the winners of each age group. In addition, all participants have a chance to win various giveaways that are normally distributed through a “prize toss.”
 Age Divisions
- 6-9 years
- 10-12 years
- 13-15 years
- 16+ years
Most contests take place on pre-selected Saturdays from 1:00–3:00 pm. For information on upcoming contest dates, visit the Skate Park’s Calendar of Upcoming Events or see the current Parks & Recreation Program Guide.
Skate Games:
To keep things fun, the Eagle Skate Park staff has created a variety of new and exciting games for skaters to participate in each week. Some of the games that are played include skate tag, skateboard hockey, obstacle course racing, and more.
Skate Games are offered every Monday from 5:00-6:00 pm, with prizes for the winners. Regular daily fees apply.
