Established in 1962,the Cape Coral Fire and Rescue Department proudly serves over 165,000 citizens and protects nearly 120 square miles. Since the beginning, the Cape Coral Fire Department has grown to 10 stations and has plans for atleast 10 more. There are currently 175 firefighters, including 55 Florida State Certified Paramedics, that are dedicated to protecting the lives and properties of our community.

Cape Coral is a coastal community that includes 400 miles of canals, the most of any city in the world. Cape Coral is also the largest city between Tampa and Miami and is the 4th largest city by area in the state of Florida.
