Welcome to the City of Cape Coral Multiple Species Habitat Conservation Plan Website A combination of a fast-growing area and great biological diversity could mean an unresolvable conflict between development and conservation.  The current process of project-by-project permitting is generally costly and time consuming for applicants.  Instead, by preserving open space and connected ecosystems, stakeholders can create a Multiple-Species Conservation Program designed to promote economic growth and preserve biodiversity.
