The City Council hired Johnson Engineering to do the site design for the Cape Coral Academic Village.
The City of Cape Coral purchased the 171-acre parcel in Northeast Cape Coral in 2003.
The site design work included researching, investigating and analyzing the impact of a future high school, college or university, library, wetlands and a sports field complex. The work addressed the issues of drainage, traffic, water and sewer, and fire and EMS services as they relate to site development. The first phase of this design project has the conceptual rendering and placement of the various components of the Village.
The Planning Report is provided in three, PDF files for review.
