Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill-
As of June 1, 2010 there have been no reports of debris or oil from this disaster washing onto Florida's shores.  However, there have been concerns about future tourism visits if visitors are not kept informed about our area. 

Please alert the Lee County Visitor & Convention Bureau (VCB), by calling 338-3500 or e-mail VCB@leegov.com, to any news you hear regarding consumer queries on the matter of the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill as well as any community response efforts so that Lee County can work as a team as much as possible.  We shall continue to keep you posted.
