Infrastructure

Transportation Information:
Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW)Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW), located just 15 miles from Cape Coral, is one of the fastest growing airports in the United States and serves regional, national, and international carriers and cargo transports. In 2006, the airport served more than 7.6 million passengers and traffic continues to grow at an average of 7 percent. The airport has experienced extraordinary growth in traffic since opening in 1983 and moved its entire operations into a new facility in 2005 to accommodate this dynamic growth.

An expanded U.S. Immigration and Customs station makes it easy for international passengers and freight to enter into Southwest Florida.

In addition to Southwest Florida International Airport, Cape Coral is also served by Page Field, a general aviation airport in Fort Myers for business executives, visiting corporate aircraft and area pilots.
